Microsoft Windows 10 has faced criticism from privacy protection authorities for collecting too much personal information and tracking the users network activities. This webinar will give you an insight into the telemetry mechanism Windows uses for data collection and how it can be configured to the needs of an organisation. Furthermore, additional ways to make Windows 10 more privacy-friendly are explored. This module is aimed at system administrators at computing centers or NOCs who are relatively new to Windows 10 and have an interest in privacy configuration at the operating system level. Basic administration knowledge about operating systems, networking and some experience with Windows operating systems will be of benefit. The module is open to all GÉANT members. Time zone - CEST.
